Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Energizing Facial.
The Energizing Facial suits most skin types—especially dull, dehydrated, and mature skin. It’s gentle enough for normal and combination skin but may be adjusted for sensitivity. A consultation and patch test ensure the treatment is tailored and safe for your skin concerns.
For lasting improvement, schedule an Energizing Facial every 4–6 weeks. Many clients start with a series of monthly treatments, then move to maintenance sessions as needed. Your esthetician will recommend frequency based on skin condition and response to treatment.
There is minimal downtime after this facial. You may experience light redness or sensitivity for a few hours, and mild flaking can occur as skin renews. Avoid heavy makeup, direct sun, and intense exercise for 24 hours and use SPF to protect results.
The Energizing Facial improves the appearance of fine lines and can help with mild pigmentation, but it may not fully erase deep wrinkles or long-standing age spots. For pronounced concerns, we recommend combining it with targeted treatments like peels or microneedling.
Contraindications include active skin infections, open wounds, recent chemical peels or facial surgery, and isotretinoin use within the past six months. Severe uncontrolled rosacea or recent radiation therapy may also disqualify you. Always disclose medications and medical history during your consultation.
To prepare, avoid exfoliation, waxing, tanning beds, and retinoids for 48–72 hours before your appointment. Come with clean skin, and bring a list of medications and recent treatments. Arrive a few minutes early to discuss concerns and allow time for a brief consultation.
