Frequently Asked Questions

Session time depends on design size and intricacy; most large pieces take 60–150 minutes including skin prep and application. Intricate, full-arm or back designs can require longer. We’ll give an accurate time estimate when you consult with your artist before booking.
Henna stain darkens after paste removal and typically reaches peak color within 24–72 hours. Final tone depends on skin type and aftercare; it will gradually fade over one to three weeks. Avoid frequent washing and exfoliation to prolong the stain.
Most clients tolerate traditional regular henna well, but sensitivities vary. We recommend a 24–48 hour patch test prior to full application for anyone with reactive skin. We avoid chemical 'black henna' and use natural pigments; disclose allergies during booking.
Clean, oil-free skin gives the best stain. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before, avoid lotions, deodorant, or sunscreen on the area, and skip moisturizers the day of appointment. Shave at least 12–24 hours prior if needed, unless your artist advises otherwise.
Leave the paste on as long as possible (ideally 4–8 hours), then gently scrape it off; avoid water contact for 24 hours. Apply natural oils like coconut or olive to seal and avoid exfoliation, swimming, or harsh products to extend stain life.
You can have both, but we recommend spacing services 24–48 hours apart to reduce irritation and ensure optimal henna absorbency. If done same day, waxing/threading should be performed first and skin allowed to calm before henna application to avoid sensitivity and poor stain.
