Get answers to common questions about Chin/Lower.
Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. Regular appointments can result in finer regrowth and longer intervals between services overall.
Some tugging is normal, but our trained technicians use quick pulls and soothing wax to minimize pain. Pre- and post-care, like exfoliating and calming gels, also reduce sensitivity. Clients often report tolerable discomfort that fades immediately after treatment.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and hair about a quarter inch long to allow proper grip. Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, or aggressive exfoliation for 48 hours before waxing. If sunburned or actively irritated, please reschedule to prevent injury.
Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs or temporary redness. We minimize risks by exfoliating, using proper technique, and recommending at-home gentle exfoliation and moisturizing afterward. If you’re prone to ingrowns, consider professional exfoliation or discuss prevention options with your technician.
Most clients return every three to six weeks depending on personal hair growth. Consistent scheduling leads to finer, sparser regrowth and more comfortable sessions. Your technician will recommend a personalized timetable based on how quickly your hair returns.
Contraindications include active cold sores, severe acne, sunburn, recent chemical peels, or use of prescription exfoliants. If you’re pregnant, on certain medications, or have skin conditions, inform us before treatment so we can adapt care or recommend alternatives.
